Group loans may be granted to groups to facilitate them invest.
Such investments may be in assets such as land or for investment purposes so as to generate revenue for the group.
The loans may be issued under the following conditions:-
- The group must have at least 5 members
- The group must make monthly savings contributions
- Facility given towards investment purposes
- A group loan can be up to 3 times the group’s savings with guarantorship
